Assist Dubai based company “U Turn Tax Refund” (specializing in VAT refund in EU states) with opening of office in Zagreb when Croatia joined EU. Prepare for sale of “Universal Capital Bank” in Montenegro that included change the name and the seat of the Bank, increase of the share capital, internal reorganization. Organize BOD meetings, agenda and decisions necessary to be adopted before sale. In addition to the Bank Led the team in charge for Group’s legal affairs relative to resorts, hotels and luxury beaches owned by the Group (Aman Resort St. Stefan and Milocer in Montenegro and a Hotel in Cavtat/Dubrovnik in Croatia). • Provide legal and consulting services to international companies operating in Serbia and Balkans, including clients from Hospitality industry (various hotels and resorts on the Adriatic coast in Croatia and Montenegro, and mountain/ski and spa resorts in Serbia). • Supported various construction projects, including hotels, in Qatar by Croatian construction company “Konstruktor”. Construction of hotel and sports center in Gabon, Africa, by Serbian-French joint-venture “Studio Romb. • Attracted French IT CO. to relocate R&D to Serbia - within 1 month they had legal entity, office and fully operational team of 5 programmers. Completed full corporate restructuring and labor reorganization of Czech IT CO. in Serbia within 1,5 month. Registered IP, wrote privacy policy, terms of use, other policies and legal documents for local social network. Successfully represent myself and clients before Courts and other Authorities (Tax, Customs, Business Registry) in civil, criminal, administrative and arbitration proceedings.

• Lead teams that advised clients on international tax issues (i.e. planning and structuring) • Attract 3 new clients, global companies, for all departments within 2 months in Ukraine. • Recruit and coach consultants that are now at managerial positions. • Organize technical training with focus on legislative developments concerning tax and other areas of interests to our clients. • Lead teams that advised clients on international tax issues (i.e. DTT analysis, int. tax planning and structuring) with focus on clients from oil & gas industry. • Volunteer to deal with charging and collection for provided services by tax & legal department. With Partner’s approval prepared and implemented a plan which produced immediate improvements in collection and increased department’s revenues. • Assist to the Partner in charge for 2 remote offices, located on the coast of Caspian Sea, with approx. 30 employees in tax and legal department. • Work on Merger project of 2 banks in Serbia. The project was led by well known Accenture Company. In charge for tax issues that included creation of one tax department, new reporting policy, tax deregistration of absorbed entity. Receive special appreciation and bonus for my contribution to the merger. • Detect improper application of withholding tax rate on interest by both banks. Notify my superiors and led the team that amended tax returns, wrote an appeal to the first instance Tax Authority’s Decision that was completely accepted and the banks avoided high penalties. The final outcome was highly appreciated by the management.

• Advise clients on tax and legal issues with the focus on VAT which was implemented from 1. January 2005. Work with clients and Tax Authority on implementation and transition. • Participate in numerous tax and legal due diligences in privatization and M&A processes.
