-Conduct microbiological and environmental testing in an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (E) accredited facility with the highest proficiency testing audit grade in the country. -Detect Listeria, Salmonella, the E.coli 0157 pathogen, Coliform, Staph, TPC, Yeast and Mold petrifilm plating. -Employ aseptic techniques while testing samples to prevent cross contamination and false presumptives. -Lead the Non-Conforming Audit Team, including risk and issue management and error avoidance training. -Implement, maintain, evaluate, enforce, and update QC Programs, including sanitation techniques, lab testing on food borne pathogens, and paperwork processes. -Oversee staff training and development for new and current staff. -Manage multiple cross-departmental projects, QC workflows, and communication. -Ensure proper documentation and SOP maintenance, updating, reviews, and approvals.
