 To execute overall on plot piping fabrication and erection works include identification of materials, inspection of site as per isometric and P&ID, fabrication of pipe spool, organize inspection of welding, coordination for the NDT, installation of piping, preparation of as built drawing and test pack, preparation of mechanical punch list, hydro testing, Flange Management and box up activities as per applicable codes, procedure and standards  Exposure to piping fabrication, Line Tracing, Welding Joint inspection, orientation and modification  Plan the piping work in detail in accordance with the overall project work schedule and monitor especially any piping related work in the critical path and provide feedback to Direct Manager and Project Manager.  To assist pre commissioning and commissioning activities of piping systems completed include flange joint leak test, air flushing, water flushing, nitrogen purging etc.  To coordinate for the installation of Mechanical static and rotary equipments like vessels, pumps, blower, compressors etc.  Identify material specification, inspection requirements and organizes for stage inspection as required  Conduct daily meeting for the progress and concern related to the works with Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation discipline head, participate weekly meeting with client  Performed engineering calculations as and where required to verify applicable code requirements  Preparation of different types of work permits for the mechanical activities, Manage safety in accordance with the requirements of the safety and health manual

 Supervise Piping Fabrication operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, Procedures, Specifications and Priorities  Counter checking by Isometric/Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.  Experience in the installation Static and Rotating Equipments according to the specifications and involved in the commissioning, start-up and maintenance.  Coordinated workflow within the engineering team, executed mechanical engineering scope, reviewed mechanical drawing content, reinforced and promoted quality and safety standards, interfaced with client and vendor engineering staff of projects.  Check and verify mechanical completion of loops before Hydro test.  Prepare the Hydro test loops & Test package clearance records.  Prepare AFE cost estimates, scopes of work and project progress reporting.  Responsible for supervising and assist in, pressure test, leak testing, hydro test, flushing, blowing up, punch list, commissioning check lists etc.  Experience with HSE procedures and requirements in the Petroleum Industry.

 Associated in project material planning, job scheduling, contract management, supervision and coordination.  Organize and manage the fabrication, erection and outfitting team.  Monitor QA/QC and ensure all quality procedures are implemented and maintained.  Interpretation of structural drawings and coordinate fabrication and erection.  Optimize all fabrication processes and advise on work opportunities.  Exposure to Piping and participate in testing.  Participate in Pre-Commissioning Survey and prepare reports.  Provide documentation on jobs in progress and completion. Projects Handled:  Fabrication Of Hull (Units 22 to 28, Port side) for the project P-71, The First indigenous Aircraft Carrier of Indian Navy, in Cochin Shipyard Ltd,  Fabrication and erection of 20 Tonne Crane Foundation for Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) in Cochin Shipyard.
